AutoClock 1.2 — © 1991-92, Jean-Pierre Gachen.
-------------
AutoClock is an application and a system extension that sets your Macintosh’s
date and time quickly, with a precision of one second, either at your request
or automatically with a chosen periodicity. It does so by calling a computer at
the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington D.C. This phone call takes just a few
seconds to complete.
AutoClock logs all clock changes, computes the mean variation of the Macintosh’s
clock for a 24 hour period, and use it to continually adjust the clock in order
to keep it right.
AutoClock can also display the current date and time in almost any country of
the world.

Compatibility
-------------
AutoClock works on any Macintosh, with system 6.0.5 or later, including system
7.0, equiped with a 1200-baud Hayes compatible modem. AutoClock is 32-bit clean,
and has balloon help if used with System 7.0. Extra serial ports which are
compatible with the Communication Toolbox are recognized.
AutoClock Extension requires System 7.0 for scheduled periodic connections, and
continuous adjustments.

Changes in version 1.2
----------------------
New features:
- Adjusts continually the clock using its mean deviation, allowing to save
calls to the time server (requires system 7).
- Records in the logbook every external clock change (with Clock DA, or
General control panel for example) (requires system 7).
- Recognize extra serial ports which are compatible with the Communication
Toolbox (for example: QuadraLink from Applied Engineering) (requires
system 7).
Bug fixes:
- With multi-monitor configurations, you can now move a window in any monitor.
- Fixes an incompatibility of AutoClock extension with some extensions (for
example Desktop Reset from Salient Software).
- Fixes UTC offset for Alaska: it's UTC-9 instead of UTC-10.
- plus other minor bug fixes...
